Climb Svolværgeita

The iconic Svolværgeita (“The Goat”) towers over the Capital of Lofoten, Svolvær. This pillar of granite has multi-pitch routes for beginners and the advanced. If you´re a normally fit traveler you must come and climb Svolværgeita with us. It is said to be our guests highlight of their Lofoten visit, time and time again. The views from the summit of Svolværgeita are amazing and well worth the effort of the climb. This is on the bucket list for all climbers in Norway. Join us on this classic adventure this summer!

Practical information:

Itinerary

We have one or two starting times (morning and/or afternoon) everyday of the summer from 1st of June to 1st of October. The trip will take 3-4 hours round trip. 45 minute approach hike. 1.5 – 2.5 hours climbing and 25 minute hike out. A perfect half day trip.

Time

Dates: June – September.
Trip Length: 1/2 day or 3-4 hours round trip. All dependent on group size.

Skill Level

Easy but Steep. Physically fit, and willing to give it a full effort.

Equipment

We supply the Ropes, Rock Rack, and all technical equipment. Climbers will need to have rock shoes, harness, and helmet (free rental). You will need to carry your own back pack to the base of the route with your personal equipment, clothes, water, snack food, and have some some space for a rope. Hiking shoes or running shoes work fine for the approach and descent.

Prices

Price: Total price per climb.

1:1 = 4000 NOK

2:1 = 5000 NOK

3:1 = 7000 NOK

4:1 = 9000 NOK

5-12 = Contact us for pricing.

Guiding Ratio: 4 climbers:1 guide is our maximum ratio.
