Lofoten Alpine Rock
Alpine climbing or mountaineering in the Lofoten Islands is one of the most unique climbing experiences a climber could dream of. Sharp mountains of granite shooting straight out of the ocean provide spectacular climbing in the summer and winter. Mountain after mountain with long ridge traverses and big granite faces make Lofoten an alpine climbers dream. Add in the midnight sun, short approaches starting from the coastline, clean solid granite, tons of new route potential, endless camping opportunities along the ocean side and you will start to understand how exotic alpine climbing in Lofoten really is.
Our Summer program is full of great adventure climbs of all levels. The combination of 24hrs of day light and mild summer temperatures allow us to climb peaks comfortably in a day and with the midnight sun we are able climb comfortably at all hours of the day. Below you will find all the trip information on our most classic trips but we can customize trips to the many other less climbed classics in the area as well.
